SUMMARY:CTCA RAPID MASTERS @ Claremont Chess Club
DESCRIPTION:The tournament will be a 6-round individual Swiss Rapid tournam
 ent. The time controls for all sections will be 10+5spm. The Junior Rapid 
 will take place on Saturday\, 16 April 2022 and the Open Rapid will take p
 lace on Monday\, 18 April 2022.\n\nThe tournament will consist of the foll
 owing sections:\n\n 	Under 14 : Players born 2009 or later\n 	Open : Open 
 to all players. Players under 14 years of age must have a Chess SA rating 
 of 1100+.\n\n All sections will be Chess SA rated.\n\n The entry fees fo
 r the event is R70 per participant\n\nThe closing date for online entries 
 is Thursday\, 14 April 2022 at 21h00.\n\nEntries will be limited to a maxi
 mum of 40 participants for both the Junior Rapid and Open Rapid tournament
 s.\n\nLate entries may be accepted after the closing date\, subject to pay
 ment of a R30 late registration fee.\n\nThe Rapid tournaments are schedule
 d to take place from 11h00 to 15h00.\nPlease refer to tournament brochure 
 for full tournament regulations.\n\n\n\n\nCOMPLIMENTARY CHESS TRAINING\nA 
 90 minute BEGINNER LEVEL CHESS TRAINING SESSION on chess endings (endgames
 ) will be presented from 09h00 to 10h30 on Saturday\, 16 April 2022 for a 
 maximum of 20 participants. \n\nA 90 minute INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CHESS TRAI
 NING SESSION on chess tactics will be presented from 09h00 to 10h30 on Sat
 urday\, 16 April 2022 for a maximum of 20 participants.
