SUMMARY:First JMC Open Tournament
DESCRIPTION:\n 	The tournament will be a 7 round Swiss tournament on the To
 rnelo platform.\n 	Time control is 15 / 15 + 10 seconds increment per move
 \n 	Pairings will be done using the Tornelo system\n 	1st round Starts at 
 9.00 am sharp\n 	There are 3 sections:\na. A Section 1600+ (Chess SA ratin
 g)\ni.  Prize money      1st R 1000   2nd  R 500      3rd  
 R 200\nb. B Section 1100 – 1599+  (Chess SA rating) and unrated adults\
 ni.  Prize money      1st R 200\nc. C Section Below 1100 (Chess SA r
 ating) and unrated Juniors\ni.  Prize money      1st R 100\n 	All pl
 ayers must be logged into Tornelo no later than 8.45am\n 	Players must not
  log out of the tournament and must be committed to play all 7 rounds.\n 	
 Players must not get aid of any sort – we expect fair play from all play
 ers and to use their own ability. Cheating is monitored by Tornelo The Fid
 e sanctions for cheating or breaching the “Fair Play Policy” are:\na. 
 Revocation of titles and sport results.\nThese sanctions could be enforced
  by Chess SA and we will report any suspicious behaviour. PLAY FAIR\n  -
   No computer assistance is allowed and will be strictly monitored.\n-  
 Any person found guilty of cheating will be banned from participating in f
 uture events.\n-  The organizers reserve the right of admission to this e
 vent.\n-  The organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this e
 vent should they consider this necessary.\n 	The tournament will be rated 
 as an online tournament.\n 	Entry closing date: 19th February 2021 @ 17:00
 . No late entries will be accepted.\n 	Entry fee is R60 per player. Paymen
 t is made through the SA Chess Hub booking platform via Payfast. Do not ma
 ke payment to JHB Metro Chess account.\n\nCut off for registration is 5 pm
  on Friday night (19th February 2021). No late entries will be accepted.\n
