Format:
5 Rounds Swiss 25 / 25 with 10 second increment per move
Pairings will be done using the Tornelo system
1st round Starts at 8:300 am sharp!!

Sections:
Up and Rising Stars: Beginner & up to 1000 Rating (chessa rating)

Established Players: 1000 to 1500(chessa rating)

Elite Players: 1500 and above (chessa rating)

Schedule:
Round 1: Starts 08:30am
Round 2: Starts 10:00am
Round 3: Starts 11:30am
Round 4: Starts 13:00pm
Round 5: Starts 14:30pm

All players must be logged into Tornelo 15 minutes before the start of each round on Sunday

Players must not log out of the tournament and must be committed to play all 5 rounds
Registration:
1. Online Registration will close at 19h00 on Friday 12th March
2. No late entries will be accepted.

Rules:
1> Players must not get aid of any sort – we expect fair play from all players and to use their own ability. All games are monitored and analysed by Tornelo.
2> The Fide sanctions for cheating or breaching the “Fair Play Policy” are: a. Revocation of titles and sport results. These sanctions could be enforced by Chess SA and we will report any suspicious behaviour.
3> PLAY FAIR. No computer or parental / coach assistance is allowed and will be strictly monitored.
4> Any person found guilty of cheating will be banned from participating in future events.
5> The organizers reserve the right of admission to this event.
6> The organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this event should they consider this necessary
7> The organizers reserve the sole discretion to allocate players to correct sections in accordance with their CHESSA Ratings and other factors.
8> The tournament will be rated as an online tournament. Results will be sent to Chess SA!
