Any player who is found to have such a device in his/her possession which is not switched off will im mediately be forfeited (loss of game).\n Default time: ZERO for 1st Round :  15 minutes for all Sections.\n Any player who arrives later than the default time will immediately be forfeited\, unless the Chief Arbiter deci des otherwise.\n Organisers reserve the right to combine or split section s depending on entries and to cancel or postpone the event.\n\n6.         APPEALS\nAny player wishing to appeal against a ruling made by an arb iter\, must do so immediately after the game has ended and before the pair ings for the next round has been published. Appeals must be lodged with th e tournament director accompanied by a R100 (which will be returned if the appeal is successful)\n\n7.         PRIZES\n\n All place (1st. - 3r d.) prize money will be shared equally amongst tied players.\n Prizes wil l be paid in by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) within 48 hours after the c onclusion of the event.\n Players must attend the award ceremony to recei ve their prizes and/or awards.\n No player may win more than one individu al prize. A player will receive the prize with the highest value.\n Prize s may be amended subject to numbers of entries.\n\n8.         WITHDRA WAL FROM THE EVENT\n\n Players withdrawing from the event will forfeit th eir entry fees.\n If a player withdraws during the event\, rating penalti es will be applied as per Chess SA Rating Regulations if no valid and acce ptable reason(s) are provided by the player. \n\n9.        DRESSCODE\ nPlayers must always be dressed neatly and look presentable.
