 rs in 3 separate venues will be allowed to participate in this event.\n 	R
 egistration to be made using the South African Chess Hub website.\n 	The o
 nline qualifiers will receive an invitation email and must register before
  Sunday\, 06 June 2021 at 9pm.\n 	On Monday 7 June 2021\, the remaining ti
 ckets per section will be made available on a first-come\, first-served ba
 sis. Final closing date: Sunday\, 13 June 2021 at 9pm.\n 	Any reserved sea
 ts which have not been booked by the registration deadline will be made av
 ailable to other players at the discretion of the LOC.\n 	Entry fee is R50
  for all level 1 participants. R100 for all other first-time participants 
 in tournament series.\n 	Request for entry fee reduction can be emailed to
  youthdirector@chesswesternprovince.co.za along with motivation.\n 	CWP Pl
 ayers that have not submitted the 2021 Individual membership registration 
 and paid their 2021 CWP individual membership fees can do this through the

 ONS\n\n\n\n\n 	The event will be rated by Chess South Africa.\n 	No player
 s will be allowed to “play up”.\n 	Tie Break: 1. Direct encounter 2. G

 phies to top 3 players in each age division.  Prize winners must be prese
 nt at award ceremony to receive their prizes.\n 	Any player that does not 
 comply with Covid-19 Health and Safety protocols may be expelled from the 
 event.\n 	The LOC reserves the right to waive criteria in all the sections
  or to cancel the event.\n 	The player/parent/guardian gives consent for p
 hotos to be taken of the players during the tournament and to be published
  on our Social Media pages and other marketing materials. Should consent n
 ot be given please email youthdirector@chesswesternprovince.co.za before t
 he tournament.\n 	The player/parent/guardian gives consent for the player
 ’s name\, surname\, gender\, race\, date of birth to be submitted to the
  rating agencies for the purposes of rating the tournament and the rating 
 agencies displaying it on their respective websites.\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\
 n\n\nCOVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS\n\n\n\n\n 	A total of 180 player
 s in 3 separate venues will be allowed to participate in the event.\n 	Onl
 y players will be allowed to enter the venue.\n 	No spectators or parents 
 will be allowed at the venue.\n 	Screening of all players\, support staff\
 , officials and attendees will be done upon entry at the venue and recorde
 d in a register.\n 	All players\, support staff and attendees will complet
 e a self-screening questionnaire to ensure efficient contact tracing where
  necessary.\n 	Any person displaying symptoms associated with Covid-19 (fe
 ver\, cough\, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties) or people who
  are considered in a high-risk group should not attend.\n 	Players will no
 t be allowed to leave the playing area during the day as well as its assoc
 iated demarcated breakaway area. Players should therefore bring their own 
 food and drink.\n 	Players may not move between the separate playing venue
 s.\n 	No food deliveries will be allowed\, and players will not be able to
  leave the playing area to buy food or drink.\n 	Sanitisation of chess pie
 ces\, sets and surfaces will be done in between rounds\, but players shoul
 d bring their own hand sanitizers as well.\n 	Hand sanitiser will be avail
 able at the entrance of the venue\, as well as at strategic areas inside t
 he venue and toilets. Toilets will have sufficient soap and paper towels a
 s well as marked Covid-19 disposal facilities.\n 	All players must wear ma
 sks always covering both their noses and mouths.\n 	All players must adher
 e to strict social distancing at all times.\n 	Players\, support staff and
  officials over the age of 60 or people with comorbidities will be encoura
 ged to be cautious and minimise exposure.\n 	Players will sign their own s
 coresheets and report the result to the arbiter. No signing of opponent sh
 eets and no sharing of pens.\n 	No hands will be shaken at the commencemen
 t of the round\, nor at the end of the match.\n 	Once the players are done
  with a match\, and their results have been recorded\, they become “Spec
 tators” and must leave the playing area immediately and reside in the br
 eakaway demarcated area.\n 	No informal games on private chess sets are al
 lowed outside the playing venue or in the demarcated breakaway area.\n\n\n
