The Cape Town Chess Federation (CTCF) is the official governing body for chess in Cape Town, committed to promoting, developing, and regulating the game across the region. We organise tournaments, leagues, and development programs for players of all ages and skill levels. Through partnerships with schools, clubs, the Western Cape Government, and the broader community, CTCF creates opportunities for growth, competition, and excellence – nurturing the next generation of chess talent while building a strong, active, and inclusive chess culture.
