Register a free account at https://chesshub.org.za/ and join the Lichess team at https://lichess.org/team/south-african-chess-hub before 6pm to ensure you are accepted in time.
Prizes
Prize fund of R 3,000!!
Cash prizes:
♟️ 1st: R600 | 2nd: R300 | 3rd: R300
♟️ 1st SA player: R600 | 2nd SA player: R 300 | 3rd SA player: R300
♟️ 2x Lucky Prize Draws of R300 each (must play minimum of 10 games)
Player can only win one cash prize. If the tournament is won by South African Player the Best SA prize will go to the 2nd South African player.
Payment will be made within 72 hours. Paypal is used for foreign winners provided that we can legally make such a payment to the recipient.
Prizes are subject to fair-play/anti-cheating review and will be withheld if there is any suspicious activity. We retain the right to report players suspected of breaking fair play rules. Any breaches of Lichess’ terms and services within 48 hours after the event will result in automatic disqualification and forfeiture of prizes.
