West Rand Trials

This is an individual event, and it will be used to select the West Rand teams. Selections will be for events like OR Tambo Soncini games, Gauteng Inter Regions, West Rand Closed Championship, etc. The number of teams selected will differ according to different tournaments selections are made for. Also the number of teams per age group will depend on the number of players we have, and the number of players required. Age groups are u8 (2018, 2019, 2020), u10 (2016 & 2017), u12 (2015 & 2014), u14 (2013 & 2012), u16 (2011 & 2010), u18 (2009 & 2008), u20 (2007 & 2006) and Open/Adults
Tournament Regulations
- An entry is only finalized once payment has been received.
- Entries close on Wednesday, 03 September 2025 (NO late entries will be accepted.)
- Proof of payment should be sent to chesswestrand@gmail.com.
- For group payments, you can make one payment then include a list of players with the proof of payment.
- It is the responsibility of the player to ensure that he/she appears on the list.
- Once your entry has been received and processed, your name will reflect on the player list at https://s2.chess-results.com/tnrWZ.aspx?lan=1&SNode=S0&tno=1236730
