The tournament is open to all players (Any person may enter). It will be FIDE rated.
Any junior can play in the open section, or higher section if they prefer. Players should be seated for round one at 7h45. The time control will be 55+5 with rate of play (the next round will start five minutes after the end of each round). Tie Breaks: Direct Encounter; Greater number of Victories, Buchholz; Sonneborn-Berger

Tournament Regulations
1. An entry is only finalized once payment has been received.
2. Process: 1. Register, 2. Make a payment, 3. Send PoP
3. No cash payments at the venue. All monies to be paid in the account.
4. Proof of payment should be sent to chesswestrand@gmail.com .
5. For group payments, you can make one payment then include a list of players with the proof of payment.
6. The Organisers reserve the right to move a player to an appropriate section.
7. It is the responsibility of the player to ensure that he/she appears on the list.
