This event serves as a qualifying event for the WP OPEN OTB tournament that will take place on 8-9 May 2021

- Players with Chess SA rating below 1500 may be allowed to “play-up” at the discretion of the LOC.
- Tie Break & pairings: LICHESS
- The LOC reserves the right to waive criteria in all the sections or to cancel the event.
10 Players from Championship Section and 20 players from Open Section will be granted preferential access to register and to participate in WP OPEN OTB event. Players must be older than 13 years to participate in the WP OPEN OTB event.
