This weekend we were proud to partner and assist with the very successful JNW Chess Club 2022 Helpmekaar Tournament at the Helpmekaar Kollege.
While administering the tournament bookings we were privileged to facilitate the sponsorship by JNW Chess Club of 18 development players from Rutegang Chess Club in Krugersdorp.
The youngsters aged from 8 to 16 years old and their coach, Bongani Ndlovu did very well and were exemplary ambassadors for the sport!!
“I wish to thank you so much for for helping organize a discount for our team. We came back with a medal, Bongani got position 2 in the challenger. All our 18 players are greatful for the experience. They’ve never played in such class chess before. They’ve only played in the township. Thanks so much for the opportunity.”
Lesego Mamathuba: Rutegang Foundation NPC
